The Autism program and Language Arts department at VH invite the community to partner with our 6th graders and read the book "Anything But Typical" by Nora Raleigh Baskin during the month of April. Please use this blog's comment section to capture thoughts and conversation you are able to have with your students and the community throughout this project. There are also links below that may be used to further your understanding and involvement in the Autism community.
Jason has a nonverbal learning disorder and ASD, or autism spectrum disorder. Do you think this changes what Jason likes/dislikes or what he is good at? Why or why not?
